Important Update on Number 4 Bus Service – Julian Road

There have been several queries and issues recently regarding the number 4 bus service, particularly relating to the Julian Road stop.

SPRA and Councillor John Goulandris have been liaising with Bristol City Council in this matter, the upshot being the following:

‘Due to miscommunication between the people doing the works and the bus company, the service was diverted early.

Julian Road will be closed, weather and emergency works allowing, from 8am on Monday 15th August until 6pm on Friday 26th August for the necessary road repairs to take place.

Notices will be placed on the bus stops to advise passengers of the diversion. Unfortunately, due to the roadworks there are limited placed to install temporary stops during this time. ‘
