2024 Family Events from the Avon Gorge and Wildlife Project team

Bristol’s Avon Gorge and Wildlife project are putting on a series of activities this year, including:

‘Little kids on the Downs’ – pre-school age nature clubWeekly on Mondays 15th Jan – 5th Feb 10am-11.45am (4 sessions at £5 per session), £20.00

Star-gazing party – family fun holiday / adult sessionTuesday 13th February – 7pm-8.10pm (extended to 9pm if weather fine) £5.00 child, £10.00 adult includes a star cookie

‘Guardians of the stream’ – native wildlife talk on white-clawed crayfishWednesday 28th Feb – 7pm-8.15pm £8.00

‘Tweet talk’ – native wildlife in depth birdsong workshopSunday 24th March 10am-3pm £30.00

Officially designated as a conservation area in 1981, SPRA (Sneyd Park Residents' Association) is a membership organisation established in 1969 and run by a volunteer committee of residents to conserve the character of the Sneyd Park area of Bristol, located on the ancient Sneyd Park estate.
