‘Save Water To Save The Trym’

A few months back, we posted some news about the recently-formed community group which has been established to help residents within the Trym catchment area install water butts.

The reason for doing this is to reduce the use of the 29 sewage overflows on the river. Other areas of the country have managed to reduce sewage discharges by installing water butts and slow releasing water over the winter (so that butts fill many times).
